Initially working in partnership with Co2 Sense the company received EU funding to help purchase a new type of vehicle. The split bodied collection vehicle allows us to collect two waste streams at each visit. This helps to reduce transport costs and therefore makes recycling a cost effective option.
Forge Recycling aims to offer a flexible waste management service with an emphasis making recycling easy.
As well as general trade waste collections, we are particularly focusing on the relatively new area of Food Waste Recycling. We plan to make the historically expensive service a cost effective solution by introducing new innovative Waste Management Systems.
We look forward to rolling out the new service in 2011 and the possibility of helping many commercial customers across the Yorkshire region increase the amount of waste they recycle.
